Sherri has worked with employees of all organizational levels. Sherri has held positions in human resources from mid-size to Fortune 500 companies and has a background in education, program development and management, and training and development.
Amongst other designations, Sherri is a certified values-based culture transformation (VBCT) consultant, certified Motivation Based Interviewer & Trainer (MBI-CT), Harrison Assessment (HA) consultant, certified Success Principles coach (SPC), and holds certificates from Cornell University in High-Performance Leadership, Change Leadership, and Managing for Execution. Sherri also has a bachelor’s degree in aviation and a master’s degree in human resources development & management.
Smith has served as the Board Chair for Achieve Human Services, is a board member on the AZ SHRM Leadership Council as the Director of Workforce Readiness, and Captain of Diversity and Inclusion for SHRM national.
Working predominantly with diverse populations, these experiences have provided her with a keen ability to understand others and help fully develop their potential. As a people strategist, Sherri specializes in dealing with diverse workgroups from front-line employees to executives — helping organizations focus on the right combination of talent and development needs required to succeed.
